Florence Nightingale's 102nd anniversary of death

Today's video is by Niga Higa again. This is also something I agree with. It's about how censorship makes no sense. It has nothing to do with Florence Nightingale or death, but it's pretty funny. It's title is the same as the part with a link to the video; Censorship Makes No Sense! Anyways,if you have a GW2 account, you can join my guild, or at least check it out. In personal news, I got a SIM card for my phone, so I can now make phone calls. If you're in middle school and going to school in two days, sorry for your loss and inability to have fun for about a year starting Wednesday.

Curiosity Post

In case you didn't watch it, the Curiosity Rover landed on Mars! My mom was amazed at the teamwork, though, as well as the landing itself. The teamwork was impressive, of course, but the landing was more so. Here's a link to video about the landing, which isn't live, but more a video about what they did to make that possible. My dad thought that it was unusual to put so much stuff on the rover, but, as I said, it worked, so he was sort of wrong.

Pro-Beta Post

Hi, sorry I forgot to post again, but I forgot between Sunday and Friday and on Saturday I was too excited about the Guild Wars 2 Beta Event. In case you're interested, though, my team won the final event at the end of the final beat event. Here's some footage of some people on a different team and probably on a different server than me. My team did win on my server, though. I died and didn't actually do much to help, but I was on the winning team. The team on this video actually lost first on my server. While everyone else had, like, 10-20 people, the had about, um, 0. Also, If you see a person with totally red hair with a name that ends with [TVC], that is me. If you want some funny music that actually sounds good, here.

I know, again, not too happy an event, but an event nonetheless. Today's video is by a youtube channel called Tobuscus. The video is one of his literal trailers, where he sings over the original music of game and movie trailers. This one is a literal trailer for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. 46th Anniversary of the 1st French nuclear explosion on Mururoa atoll

It isn't a particularly GOOD event, but an event nonetheless. The fact that it involves nukes almost makes me sad that today's video is an awesome song. This is not from a tv show, it's Country Road by John Denver. I told you it was awesome. Anyways, in case you're interested, there's a Guild Wars 2 Beta event on the 20th so I'm really excited fro that, as well as the release of the game on the 28th of August. One more month until five years of work ends with a single, important event for the GIANT amount of people who have been waiting for this for so long. Enjoy the song!

Post before GW2 Stress Test

In case you're wondering, GW2 stands for Guild Wars 2. Now then, the video this week will be about Guild Wars 2, so sorry if you don't find the video to be exciting, but I like this game, I've never played it before, and I'm excited. On the bright side, it will be pretty funny. It's by Yogscast and is an elementalsit spotlight. In other words, it shows some abilities of the GW2 profession that can hurl rocks, lightning, fire, and water at the enemy. If you want something really funny, go here. It has a little cussing but only once or twice. Not too big a deal, if you ask me.

William Hooper's Birthday Post

In case you're wondering, William Hooper was one of the people who signed the Declaration of Independence. Happy birthday, founding father! Now, here's a song that has nothing to do with the U.S. or William Hooper. It is barely about what the title is. Just kidding, it has the title of the song in it many, many, many times. It's from the Family Guy episode where Stewie tries to go to the North Pole to kill Santa. It's mainly sung by Santa and his elves. It is called Christmastime Is Killing Us. Yes, Santa and his elves sing a song about how Christmastime is killing them. Turns out that they are all suicidal. VERY suicidal, I might add. Sorry it has no actual video. It's SO funny with the actual video! I wish I could find a good quality video version of this.
